Operated by TUI Cruises, the newest Cruising Ship ” Mein Schiff 5 ” has entered in service.
To celebrate this world-class event, a huge show was produced to baptize ” Mein Schiff 5 ” in Travemünde, North Germany.
For this VIP ceremony, the company Les Oiseaux du Paradis was chosen to create a unique performance in collaboration with the singer/songwriter Lena Meyer-Landrot.
The story behind the scene :
With Arthur Castro (Artistic director of TUI Cruises), we went on board on the newest cruise ship “ Mein Schiff 5 “ in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Few hours later, the boat ” Mein Schiff 5 ” started sailing and we crossed the Baltic Sea on the way to Keil, Germany.
Then, the set-up on the stage and other technical matters were built over the pool deck.
Around midnight, with 97 % of humidity and 12 celsius, we made the dress rehearsal… Very very challenging conditions.
